Guelph's National Urban Park proposal is rooted in the Reformatory Conservation District, but it doesn't have to stop there.

Guelph's green spaces, attached by trails and waterways, can be part of one National Urban Park.

When we saw that the co-designer of Central Park in New York City chained together multiple park sites in Boston, later dubbed "The Emerald Necklace", we knew we had to borrow from that.

Urban Park Guelph is engaging with interested title holders collecting expressions of interest to present to Parks Canada. Note that Parks Canada will never expropriate land for National Urban Parks, so every Park is made up of willing partners working toward a common cause.
